Summary
I'm a self taught, 23 year old artist that chiefly works in the traditional medium. I've been practicing my skills since I was a small child and draw on a daily basis. Professionally I've been hired to do commissions on a freelance basis (primarily character references/ pieces) but recently I've illustrated my first children's book and have started getting into contract work with local authors (See 'Got Your Nose!' by Katrina Mamela for the book).
I'm looking into potentially self illustrating and publishing books as well so I hope to have more to show the world in the future.
Other pieces I've done have consisted of Remembrance Day posters for the Canadian Legion, a feature on a series of place mats celebrating the history of Lethbridge, Alberta, and a logo for and anti-bullying campaign in Drayton Valley, Alberta.
I've also recently taken to teaching younger artists in a local school about artistic principals and application and have been considering a part-time career in this field.
